Secure Your Portrait

Your spot is secured once the deposit is paid. Since hand-drawing realistic charcoal art takes a lot of time and effort, I only take on a limited number of clients. This ensures your custom piece receives the focused attention and high-quality skill it deserves during every hour in the studio.

Part 03

Artistic Creation

During this stage, your custom artwork truly comes to life. I start by sketching a basic outline to ensure perfect proportions before building up many layers of professional charcoal. By blending dark shadows and bright highlights, I create realistic textures that look and feel alive. This patient, hand-drawn process takes time to complete, but it results in a high-quality portrait that you will cherish for years.

Studio Insights

Engagement with the artist is vital. As I develop your one-off masterpiece, you will get regular studio updates and photography showcasing the physical charcoal as it is applied to the paper right at my drawing desk.

Part 04

When finished, your original drawing is sealed with premium fixative to ensure the carbon particles remain bonded to the paper forever. I provide expert advice on archival framing, including specialized glass to protect the delicate original surface from UV light while showcasing the raw texture of the medium.

Part 05

Primary original works are intended as focal points. Every commissioned drawing is crated in industrial-grade protection to ensure the safety of the original medium during transit. From my studio to your wall, I manage the process so your investment arrives pristine for immediate exhibition.
